Medical Director – Outpatient Psychiatry

Part-Time | Approximately 2 Hours/Week | Remote Oversight | $1,000/Month

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist/Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and mentorship for an established outpatient behavioral health program. This is a low-hour, oversight-only position with no direct patient care responsibilities and is ideal for a psychiatrist interested in a flexible, long-term leadership opportunity.

Position Highlights

• Approximately 8 hours per month / 2 hours per week
• No direct patient care
• Outpatient psychiatric oversight only
• Patient population spans all ages
• Child & Adolescent board certification not required
• Opportunity to serve as a trusted mentor and clinical resource for two providers newer to psychiatry
• Credentialing can be completed in approximately 30 days
• ASAP start

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic chart audits and clinical quality reviews
• Provide consultation and guidance on complex or challenging cases
• Support general quality assurance and clinical best practices
• Serve as an accessible clinical sounding board and mentor for the provider team
• Participate in occasional remote planning or clinical meetings, as needed
• Build a collaborative, long-term relationship with the outpatient clinical team
